My wife and I regularly have people over
during the summer and without fail I get asked the question, what do you
do to your lawn that makes it so thick?
Is this something you would love to have your friends and family ask you? If so, contact me for a free estimate and I would love the opportunity to be able to take care of your lawn.
The lawn care season in Iowa is literally right around the corner. As soon as the snow melts and as long as I don't see a major change in the 7-day forecast, I will be out the latter part of this week and/or weekend putting down the first application of lawn fertilizer with pre-emergent for my customers.
I'd like to take the time to go into a little more detail about the services I will be providing this upcoming lawn season.
FERTILIZATION
Like I said, this is going to get started within the next week. I recommend the use of a 5-step lawn program. Thick & healthy lawns are more likely to stave off unsightly weeds. Getting started on a fertilization program will be one of the best things that you can do for your lawns. I use a slow release granular fertilizer and will apply to your lawn every 6-8 weeks.
MOWING
I have two 42" eXmarks that will be able to mow your lawn effectively and efficiently.
I am on top of the weather conditions and the time of season and will adjust the cut height for your lawn accordingly. I will also mow your lawn in a different direction each time to avoid ruts.
TRIMMING & BLOWING
I want your lawn to look as great as mine does, and the added extra touch is a quality trimming job. Once I am all done, your sidewalk, driveway and street will be cleared of all grass clippings.
AERATION & OVER-SEEDING
I'm a big advocate of aeration and if this is something you're considering, you NEED to call me. I've done the research on the market and you will want to contact me for an estimate before you decide on anyone else.
Aeration provides circulation for your lawn and allows better water and air flow in addition to allowing nutrients to reach deep into your lawns root system.
I have a stand-on aerator that allows me more mobility than the average aerator and allows me to plug twice as many holes in your soil, providing far better results.
Then I will follow it up with over-seeding to replenish any thinning or dying grass that your lawn has lost over the years.
So, in a nutshell to answer my guests questions when they see my lawn... this is how!! Don't you want a great lawn as well? Call me and I would love the opportunity to work with you.
